JOEY'S UPDATE!!
First and foremost, thank you all for your incredible patience and understanding as we work hard to bring "our" downtown deli back to life. I say "our" deli because it truly belongs to all of us—you’ve been the heart of Joey’s from the very beginning.
Many of you waited with us, hoping our old ovens would hang in there a little longer. Eventually, it was clear that it was time to make some much-needed upgrades.
Our building, one of the original gems in the heart of downtown Lima Square, has plenty of stories to tell. What started as a simple oven wiring project soon revealed just how much love and care this old space needed. As contractors peeled back layers of history, they discovered aging wood, moisture around windows, and other repairs that had to be taken care of to ensure the space was safe and strong for years to come.
The good news?
When we reopen, JOEY’S will be exactly as you remember—same menu, same recipes, same quality ingredients, and the same welcoming smiles. The only difference will be a fresh new look and, of course, a bigger, better oven ready to serve you faster and better than ever.
We’re currently waiting for final approvals and remain hopeful to reopen sometime in the spring!
We want to give a HUGE thank you to all of the hardwork Dustin, Kyle and Tom are doing to get us up and going as soon as possible!
